Agile Coach
Do you want to be a valued part of making DFDS data driven? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a passion for helping others become the best in their field?
If so, join us as our Agile Coach in the Data & Strategy Execution (D&SE) tribe of DFDS!
Tech Moves us - Be part of the movement and play your part
As an Agile Coach in our Technology & Innovation Division you will guide and coach teams as well as the organization on agile values and principles. You will be challenging the status quo to promote a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, and innovation.
In your role as Agile Coach, you will:
- Coach and mentor in defining new ways of working that support the journey we are on and the mindset that will make us thrive.
- Facilitate that the new way of working is being implemented.
- Create motivation and take decisions based on available facts and feedback and drive new activities if needed.
- Ensure processes and tools are being used as intended within the tribe (most with a clear outset in Agile methodologies, but also some on basic project management best practices)
- Be the OKR specialist across tribes and the promotor of using the OKR framework alongside helping facilitating workshops etc.
- Highlight areas where we are not able to work efficiently (and be sufficiently comfortable in hands on working together with a respective team to improve collaboration, teamwork and outcomes in that area)
- Remove impediments for the team to make sure that they reach their objectives and deliver the expected value.
- Facilitate Scrum events such as Daily Stand-ups, Planning, Review and Retrospectives, when needed and where applicable.
- Drive relentless improvement and create a learning environment with ongoing feedback and recognition.
- Work closely with Tribe Lead and Team Leads within the Tribe
- Be an active member of our Chapter with Agile Coaches from other Tribes in Technology & Innovation
Turning the focus to you:
We think the strongest teams are built on diversity and inclusivity. Contrasting opinions, varied skills and strong characters bring out the best in us all.
With this in mind, we think that your background into the role as an Agile Coach can be many, but we imagine that you:
- Have solid experience as an Agile Coach
- Have experience within project management, product management, IT or software development
- Have a proven track record of hands-on experience in coaching cross-functional, and preferably multi-national, team
- Have experience with working with the OKR framework and eagerness to implement the framework across all tribes
- Have proven experience with LEAN and/or Kanban
- Have the ability to effectively build followership and coach teams to adapt the agile practices, principles, and values
- Have the ability to engage with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of an organization and actively drive cross-collaborative initiatives
- Have outstanding communication skills, can provide constructive feedback and mediate heated discussions.
We are interested in your approach towards driving change, engaging teams, and focusing on customer value.
