About the role
DFDS is developing rapidly across Europe and Northern Africa. We have an ambitious climate action plan to reduce CO2 emissions – and we are determined to become an even more inclusive place to work. We are looking for an L&D Consultant with strong expertise in digital learning solutions, including e-learning and Learning Management Systems (LMS). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of enhancing training programs through innovative digital solutions. Also, you should have a solid foundation within learning & development, including experience with facilitation.
Specifically, you will be working with the following areas:
LMS
- Be process owner for our LMS, Skillsoft Percipio, incl. day-to-day maintenance, vendor meetings, reporting, building “DFDS library”, promotion activities, etc.
- Drive our digital 2025-2027 learning roadmap
- Own and secure utilization of other digital tools, incl. learning platforms, games and simulations, platforms for creating e-learning, etc.
L&D
- Develop and drive specific content, e.g. feedback methods or how to handle difficult conversations
- Advise on and implement new learning formats and trends
- Run day-to-day coordination and administration of our training calendar
- Facilitate by
- Supporting and co-delivering parts of DFDS learning curriculum – e.g. leadership development programmes and talent programmes
- Owning and delivering general trainings, e.g. Change & Stakeholder management
Other
- Take part in day-to-day work in L&D team, including communications, administration, reporting etc.
- Cooperate with local and central stakeholders, incl. our L&D network
As our new L&D Consultant, you will join the People Division, who supports DFDS’ overall strategy and works to ensure that DFDS becomes an even greater place to work. Specifically, you will be a part of the Centre of Excellence team – based in our new headquarter premises in Nordhavn, Copenhagen – reporting to the Director, Centre of Excellence.
Within the team, we are responsible for different areas. However, we are team players and take great pride in knowledge sharing and in exchanging tools, approaches, etc. to inspire and help each other. While we have a strong professionalism, we make sure to have fun along the way - both in the office and in off-site social activities.
About you

The ideal person for this position will have the following qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience implementing and improving global HR processes and tools
- Experience in the LMS area with Skillsoft Percipio or similar provider
- Experience in L&D, including facilitating / co-facilitating trainings, preferably both online and in person
- Strategic, structured, and analytic mindset with strong prioritization and execution skills
- Strong project management skills, combined with solid communications and stakeholder management skills
