About the role
So, what is it like to be a Chapter Lead at DFDS? As a Chapter Lead, you lead, coach, and mentor your employees to help them become the best possible professionals. You lead the vision for what a professional is within the craft in close collaboration with the leadership team in Innovation & Strategy Execution. You lead, inspire and create excitement around the future of the craft.
This means that you are a specialist and passionate about setting agile values and principles in action, with the ability to coach, mentor, and lead people. You can get people with you and foster a mindset with focus on impact realisation.
You will be a part of the Technology & Innovation Division, be a Chapter Lead (line manager) for around 5-7 Agile Coaches, and be an Agile Coach within our Ferry & Terminals tribe. Your team are located across different locations, and you are therefore expected to have some travel. You will report to the Head of Innovation & Strategy Execution.
Your Dual Role:
- Lead and grow: Drive the vision for the Agile Chapter and lead the journey of how to utilise agile coaches best within our tribes. Further, you will have line management responsibilities such as recruiting, training, development etc.
- Stay Hands-on: Dive deep into the agile ways of working as a contributing Agile Coach within your own Agile team but also supporting across tribes within specific knowledge areas.
About you
To be considered for the position, we imagine you have professional experience with:
- Several years of experience and strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and tools.
- Practical experience with people management.
- A solid understanding of agile principles, team dynamics, and continuous improvement.
- Proven experience working with the OKR framework (objective & key results) by implementing it into tribes and teams
- Proven experience in working with KPIs to ensure focus on impact realisation
- A strong people leader that can lead the vision for the Agile Chapter both within the agile chapter and across our Technology and Innovation Division.
