Cozmos plays a key role in DFDS’ financial operations and digital transformation. The platform processes thousands of documents every day, connects with Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations (D365F&O), several line of business applications, leverages Azure services, and ensures compliance with international eInvoicing standards such as PEPPOL and other local variations.
Cozmos is a mature product but continuously evolving to meet business needs. You will join a highly collaborative product team based in Copenhagen, Poznań, Istanbul, and India, working in close partnership with the business and other DFDS platforms.
Join the movement – and help us build the future of finance automation.
About the role
As Technical Business Analyst on Cozmos, you will play a key role in shaping, delivering, and maintaining critical functionality across the platform. You will work closely with our Product Owner, Architects, Integration Engineers, Testers, and Developers, as well as business stakeholders from Finance, Procurement, IT and our many business units.
Cozmos has a rich integration landscape: it processes documents in pdf format, receives source data via Azure Service Bus, maps custom XML formats to PEPPOL-compliant eInvoice formats, and distributes documents via APIs, SFTP, and email. We track every document’s journey through a custom-built tracking and validation framework.
You will help run projects and drive enhancements in addition to optimizing the current processing flows.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analyze and document business needs and translate them into technical requirements and user stories
- Design and validate integration scenarios and document flows
- Help evolve our mapping logic between source formats and eInvoice standards
- Collaborate with developers on technical design and validation logic
- Test new features end-to-end across components
- Investigate errors and edge cases using logs, tracking tools, and database queries
- Support documentation, UAT, and training for new functionality
- Work closely with Product Owner to groom backlog and prioritize based on business value
About you
You are a structured, curious, and hands-on problem-solver with experience from integration-heavy systems or document automation platforms. You can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, and you thrive in a team where collaboration is key.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Experience working with XML-based data flows, ideally eInvoices or similar structured documents
- Understanding of integration technologies like Azure Service Bus, SFTP, APIs
- Familiarity with Microsoft D365F&O or other ERP systems
- Ability to analyze and map data from one format to another
- 3+ years’ experience from technical business analysis, preferably in finance or procurement domains
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across locations
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience working with PEPPOL, OIOUBL or other eInvoicing standards
- Hands-on experience with document transformation logic
- Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Functions, or related Microsoft integration tools
- Familiarity with Agile ways of working and tools like Azure DevOps or Jira
