As Head of Ferry Pricing & Commercial Analytics, you will be the strategic voice of pricing and revenue across the Ferry Division. You’ll lead a management team of four department heads and a diverse group of passionate professionals, driving innovation and excellence in pricing, revenue management, and commercial analytics.

Key responsibilities:
- Mentor, manage, and inspire a diverse team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Define and execute global pricing and revenue management strategies. Regularly analyse pricing performance and market feedback to refine strategies and optimize revenue.
- Co-design, implement and operate a new B2B pricing structure and governance model.
- Prioritize tooling and system developments to enhance pricing and capacity management.
- Analyse sales and revenue data, providing actionable insights to improve performance and drive revenue growth.
- Support tender negotiation for large accounts and business development opportunities.
- Own and govern pricing processes across Ferry Division.
- Engage with other senior leaders across DFDS to align revenue management strategies with overall business objectives.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives that drive growth.
- Share insights and best methodologies with regional teams to ensure a cohesive approach to revenue management and pricing.
- Champion standardization and simplification efforts across all relevant areas of our ferry business.
The position is situated in our Headquarters in Copenhagen and reports to VP, Head of Ferry Commercial.
Travel is an integral part of this role, enabling you to build strong relationships with commercial teams, customers, and strategic partners across key locations.
Given the nature of our operations, you will be expected to travel across our network to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with local market dynamics and operational realities.
About you
You are a strategic and commercially minded leader with expertise in pricing and analytics, ideally within the transportation or logistics sector. You have a proven track record of developing data-driven pricing strategies that optimize revenue, improve customer segmentation, and support long-term business growth.
Your leadership style is collaborative and empowering—you’ve built and led high-performing teams, fostered cross-functional alignment, and mentored talent across commercial, finance, and operational functions.
You’re comfortable navigating complex regulatory environments, dynamic market conditions, and multi-modal pricing structures.
You bring a strong blend of analytical rigor and business acumen, translating complex data into actionable insights that influence executive decision-making.
Whether working with freight, passenger services, or mobility platforms, you consistently align pricing strategies with operational realities and customer needs.
You thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments and are passionate about driving innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable value creation in transportation.
To succeed in this role, you will likely bring:
- Extensive leadership experience, including managing leaders of teams and driving strategic direction across commercial functions.
- Strong expertise in pricing and revenue management, ideally within transportation, logistics, or a similarly complex operational environment.
- Advanced analytical skills, with proficiency in tools such as Power Bi, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, communicate effectively across functions, and present insights at executive level.
- Experience leading transformation initiatives, including digitalization, standardization, and process optimization across global teams.
