Learning & Development Manager

About the role
DFDS is developing rapidly across Europe, Türkiye and Northern Africa. We are looking for an experienced Learning & Development Manager with strong expertise in two areas:
- Solid foundation in creating and facilitating development programmes, aligned with organisational goals
- Significant experience in working with digital learning solutions, including e-learning and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Specifically, you will be working with the following areas:
DFDS Academy
- Co-develop and co-drive specific content, utilizing relevant personal and leadership development frameworks/models to reflect business priorities and needs
- Advise on and implement new learning formats and trends
- Facilitate training programmes by
- Supporting and co-delivering parts of DFDS learning curriculum – e.g., leadership development and talent programmes
- Owning and delivering (co-delivering) general trainings towards employees, e.g., basic project management, AI adoption, etc.
Digital learning
- Drive our digital 2026-2027 learning roadmap
- Own and develop our portfolio of digital tools, such as learning platforms, simulations, platforms for creating e-learning, etc.
- Be process owner for our current Learning Management System, Skillsoft Percipio, incl. vendor management, reporting, promotion activities, etc.
Other
- Take part in day-to-day work in L&D team, incl. communications, administration and coordination of training calendar, reporting etc.
- Cooperate with local and central stakeholders, incl. our L&D digital learning community
As our new colleague, you will join the People Division, who supports DFDS’ overall strategy and works to ensure that DFDS becomes an even greater place to work. Specifically, you will be a part of the Learning & Development team and reporting to the Head of Learning & Development, within the Centre of Excellence – based in our new headquarter premises in Nordhavn, Copenhagen.
About you

The ideal person for this position will have the following qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Learning & Development, including facilitating / co-facilitating trainings, preferably both online and in person
- Proven experience with digital learning tools – coupled with curiosity around “what’s out there”
- Strategic, structured, and analytic mindset with strong prioritization and execution skills
- Strong project management skills, combined with solid communications and stakeholder management skills
