Do you want to be a valued part of the critical infrastructure that serves communities across Europe and beyond? And would you like to work with a variety of high-priority strategic projects and solve complex business challenges across an international company? Then join our in-house Strategy & Consulting team as a Student Analyst.
About the role
Be part of the movement - and play your part.
We are currently looking for an ambitious Student Analyst to join our Strategy & Consulting (S&C) team 15–20 hours per week, starting in winter 2026. The position is based at our headquarters in Copenhagen.
Our S&C team oversees Group Strategy and drives strategic projects, in an internal consultant capacity, on DFDS’ most critical projects. Our projects span across strategy, M&A, operations, commercial, green transition, digitalisation, and organisational topics, covering our Ferry and Logistics divisions as well as group-level initiatives. This gives you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across different parts of our business and build a strong foundation for your future career.
As a Student Analyst, you’ll get to:
Work alongside experienced colleagues on projects that help shape the strategic direction of DFDS and support our executives in making key business decisions
Contribute to solving high-stakes strategic and operational challenges in close collaboration with our business.
Among others, your responsibilities will include:
Conducting various analyses covering the industry, competitor landscape, and market, consolidating data and preparing reports
Participating in workshops, preparing presentations and presenting findings
Support on different ad-hoc tasks for the Head of Strategy & Consulting.
We are a team of passionate colleagues with backgrounds in management consulting. Your future teammates bring diverse experience from a wide range of industries and disciplines, all with a strong focus on professional development. We also value a positive team atmosphere and enjoy spending time socially together.
We have a strong focus on your development of a broad management consulting toolbox and exposing you to different parts of the business. You can expect to grow within areas like problem solving, project management, data analysis, solution implementation, stakeholder management, and operational understanding.
About you
We think the strongest teams are built on diversity and inclusivity. Contrasting opinions, varied skills and strong characters bring out the best in us all. With this in mind, we think it is important that you are collaborative, being a true team player, and have a strong personal drive with a high sense of responsibility for everything you do. Additionally, you are:
After the Christmas break, enrolled as a student on your 2nd-3rd year of your bachelor’s (or 1st year of your master’s)
Studying at a university in Denmark, ideally within business, finance, economics or engineering, and can work from our location in Nordhavn, Copenhagen
Fluent in English, both verbally and written
Dedicated to developing your skills in project management, problem solving, and data analysis, and you feel confident presenting and taking ownership of your work.
Ideally, you bring relevant prior experience from a student job or internship (, e.g. within shipping and logistics, consulting, private equity, M&A, banking or commercial roles such as sales and business development).
