As Business Partner Health, Safety & Security for Logistics you will play a crucial role in promoting and implementing health, safety and security standards across global logistics and thereby driving the DFDS strategic agenda for a safe and secure working environment.
You will be part of Global Health, Safety & Security (HSS) and collaborate closely with the Business Partner for HSS Ferry Operations.
As Business Partner HSS you will be the sparring partner on all health, safety and security related issues for the Logistics management teams as well as you will be closely interacting with the local safety and security teams for implementation of global initiatives, knowledge sharing, investigations etc.
The role includes occasional travel to support sites and stakeholders across our logistics network. Preferably you are based in Copenhagen, Denmark but for the right candidate other locations can be considered.
Key Responsibilities
As Business Partner HSS the scope and tasks of the role will be covering areas like:
Strategic advisor to Logistics business units on health, safety, and security matters.
Provide consistent Health, Safety & Security support across all operational geographies
Identify, assess, and mitigate Health, Safety & Security risks across operations
Support incident investigations and promote a learning culture
Support in development and implementation of group wide corporate safety and security initiatives to improve safety culture
Monitor compliance with legal requirements and corporate HSS standards, and support audits and inspections
Analyze trends, generate reports, and provide insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement
Enhance Health, Safety & Security competencies across the organization
Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Drive innovation in Health, Safety & Security practices and systems
About you

The ideal person for this position will have the following qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience with safety and/or security from a safety or security focused position.
Understand risk assessment methodologies and hazard identification techniques
Relevant educational background at bachelor level or equivalent experience
Experienced user of Microsoft 365 product suite
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally, as the role interacts with many stakeholders across the organisation
You can have gained your experience within the HSS domain from either a public or private organization in any industry. The key is that you understand safety and security and have the wellbeing of our employees at heart.
