We are currently undergoing a transformation—from being “order takers” to becoming true “data guardians.” This means taking greater responsibility of data by introducing stronger governance, defining data standards, establishing standard processes, measuring and improving data quality, and automate to optimise and improve processes.
We value open collaboration, sparring, and supporting each other in an informal and friendly environment.
About you
As a large and complex organisation, driving transformation requires strong relationshipbuilding skills and the ability to lead and facilitate datafocused discussions with senior management, business stakeholders, and IT specialists.
You are naturally curious—eager to understand business needs and pain points—and you know how to tailor your communication to your audience, using storytelling to make data topics engaging and understandable.
We are looking for someone who is ambitious in solving tasks and motivated to deliver sustainable, highquality solutions that create real value for DFDS.
You are persistent, detailoriented, and qualitydriven, with a strong analytical mindset that enables you to navigate complexity and make sound decisions. Fluency in English is required – both written and spoken.
Moreover, the ideal candidate has experience with:
Master Data Governance and practical implementation in a large, complex organisation
Facilitating discussions with different stakeholders who do not have Master Data Management as part of their daily job, leading to aligned standards for data and processes
Defining business requirements for the data glossary, Data Quality (DQ) dashboards, DQ measurements, and data lineage
Working closely with business stakeholders and developers to define KPIs and metrics
Operating within the logistics industry, giving you a strong understanding of its data challenges and processes
We think the strongest teams are built on diversity and inclusivity. Contrasting opinions, varied skills and strong characters bring out the best in us all. We are looking for a team player - and we cannot wait for you to join.
