About the role
The Pricing Excellence and Commercial Insights team is a service area forming part of the Commercial Excellence Department, which also consists of Tools and Processes, Tender Management and DFDS Way of Selling. Commercial Excellence (CommX) plays a fundamental role in ensuring optimal commercial performance across DFDS.
CommX is responsible for developing and implementing commercial direction incl. strategies for pricing, sales and customer engagement. By working with specific pricing excellence initiatives, we aim to optimize internally our commercial efforts towards improved customer experience and thereby creating a positive impact on DFDS bottom-line.
Your focus will be to support the Pricing Excellence and Commercial Insights team in achieving its ambition “Protect & drive profitability through pricing excellence initiatives”.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to high impact projects spanning across the entire Commercial Excellence scope, with main focus on: Pricing Excellence and Commercial Insights. This entails, but is not limited to:
Analytical work incl. problem solving, data analysis and business cases
Driving insights through data and data visualization including creation of dashboards
Involving, sparring, and coordinating with key stakeholders
Presenting key findings to senior stakeholders
Example of projects:
Support on development and implementation of specific commercial tools, sales processes and solutions
Drive monthly process of market newsletter development
Internal sales reporting optimization and alignment across divisions
Analysis of commercial customer contracts, agreements & bookings
Roll out and implementation of Contract Management system and the like
Market research & Commercial insights development and maintenance
Through this work, you will be exposed to various stakeholders across Europe. You will be working closely with and reporting to Victor Skov, Head of Pricing Excellence & Commercial Insights, allowing you one-on-one coaching from the start. However, as we are a small team, you will have a high degree of responsibility.
The position is planned for 15-20 hours/week and will be flexible around exam schedules. You will be based at our headquarters in Nordhavn, Copenhagen.

Additionally, the ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications and skills:
About to start last year of a Bachelor’s or first year of a Master's degree e.g. in business administration, economics, finance, strategy, or IT
Experience with Excel and PPT. It is a plus if you have experience with Power BI
Passion for data and driving value through data
Passionate about process improvements and ensuring implementation of these
Full professional proficiency in English, written and spoken
