About the role
Payroll is more than numbers. It's about ensuring that our colleagues are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with legislation and collective agreements. As our new Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in creating a seamless payroll experience for employees across our Danish entities.
You will join a dedicated Payroll & Administration team within Finance, where collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do. We are a small team of five dedicated employees working with accounting hereof 2 with payroll and administration. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership, contribute ideas, and help optimize our payroll processes.
What you'll be doing
As Payroll Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
Processing and calculating payroll for hourly and salaried employees across our Danish entities.
Reconciling payroll, time registrations, and eIncome reporting.
Ensuring payroll processes comply with Danish legislation, tax regulations, and collective agreements.
Managing reimbursements related to sickness, parental leave, and other statutory schemes.
Preparing payroll reporting, analyses, and statistics.
Acting as a trusted advisor by supporting employees and managers with payroll-related queries.
Identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes and ways of working.
About you
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with details while never losing sight of the bigger picture.
Ideally, you bring:
Experience working with payroll administration, preferably 3+ years.
Solid knowledge of Danish payroll legislation and payroll processes.
Professional proficiency in both Danish and English, written and spoken.
A structured and detail-oriented approach with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
The ability to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities.
A proactive mindset and a natural curiosity for optimizing processes.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a service-minded approach towards employees and stakeholders.
Most importantly, you take pride in delivering a reliable payroll service and enjoy being part of a team that supports each other's success.
